Neil MacDonald is an award winning Canadian journalist who currently works for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

MacDonald worked as a print journalist for many years. He joined the CBC in 1988 and covered Parliament for approximately a decade. He then served for five years as the network's chief Middle East correspondent. He is currently The Nationals Washington correspondent.
