Nebulous


 
 

Nebulous is a science fiction comedy set in the year 2099 that premiered on BBC Radio 4 on 6 January till the end of the first series on 10 February, 2005, written by Graham Duff and directed by Nicholas Briggs. The series is produced independently for the BBC by Baby Cow Productions.

The show is about the adventures of Professor Nebulous and the eco-troubleshooting team of K.E.N.T. (The Key Environmental Non-Judgmental Taskforce) as they battle intelligent cacti and colours that send people insane while they try and set the world back on the right path.

The show parodies a number of sources such as Doctor Who, Quatermass, The X-Files, and James Bond.

A second series of Nebulous is due in Spring 2006, and Doctor Who star Peter Davison is reported as making a guest appearance as "Dr. Diplodicus" in an episode entitled The Deptford Wives.
