National Institute of Engineering, Mysore


 

National Institute of Engineering, Mysore is one of the earliest engineering institutions of India. Founded in 1946 it offered diploma in civil engineering. Today National Institute of Engineering, Mysore is one the premier institute of the country. It is popularly known as NIE.

Location

NIE is located in Mysore south, on Manandavadi Road next to the Government silk factory. The campus consists of two sections; including the more recent Golden Jubilee Building.
