National Geographic Channel

The National Geographic Channel is a digital cable television network that features documentaries produced by the National Geographic Society. It feature some programming similar to that on the Discovery Channel such as nature and science documentaries.

The National Geography Channel, launched in January 2004, is a joint venture of National Geographic Television & Film and Fox Cable Networks. The National Geography provides programming expertise and the Fox Networks Group provides its expertise on distribution, marketing, and ad sales.
