National Congress of American Indians
The National Congress of American Indians is the oldest, largest and most representative Indian organization in the United States. NCAI was organized in 1944 in response to federal termination policies and hostile legislation which proved to be devastating to Indian nations and to Indian people. To this day it remains dedicated to the restoration and exercise of tribal sovereignty and the continued viability of all tribal governments. See http://www.ncai.org
