Natasha Richardson


 

Natasha Richardson (born 11 May 1963 in London) is a British-American actress who played the title character in The Handmaid's Tale, the 1990 film based on Margaret Atwood's prophetic novel. She won the 1998 Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her role as "Sally Bowles" in the revisionist, grungy revival of Cabaret. She was also in the 1998 remake of Disney's The Parent Trap playing the role of Elizabeth James. She was also a supporting actress in the 2002 film Maid in Manhattan as well as in 1994 movie Nell, which starred her husband Liam Neeson and Jodie Foster.
