Nancy Chodorow
Nancy Chodorow is a feminist sociologist and psychoanalyst born 20 January 1944 in New York City. She graduated from Radcliffe College in 1966 and later received her PhD in sociology from Brandeis University. She has written many influential books, including Psychoanalysis and the Sociology of Gender, and is widely considered one of the leading feminist theorists. She spent many years teaching as a professor at the University of California at Berkeley.
