Quotations

• Nadja at the morgue: "We have come for the body of Count Voivoida Armenios Ceau?escu Dracula. I believe there is a wooden stake in the heart. You will take us to him".
  (This may be a reference to Nicolae Ceau?escu the leader of communist Romania overthrown a few years earlier.)
• Van Helsing about the Count: "He tried to change, tried to resist the usual pattern. He managed to show some restraint. But she, she died in childbirth. And after that he didn't care about anything. It was back to basics."
  (Here "back to basics" may have been read by British audiences as a reference to that policy of the Conservative Party the previous year, and a derogatory reference given the context. But this could have been accidental, given the film was an American production.)
