Nadir may refer to any of the following:

• Nadir Shah, a Shah of Persia from 1736 to 1747
• Asil Nadir, the Turkish Cypriot founder of the failed Polly Peck business empire and fugitive businessman involved in the downfall of Michael Mates
• the nadir, with an altitude of -90°, is opposite the zenith in the horizontal coordinate system; that is, the invisible point vertically downward. This term is also used symbolically when describing a low point, as in "…the nadir of the war…"
• the Nadir, a fictional tribe in the book Legend by David Gemmell
