My Boo

"My Boo" is the name of two popular R&B songs. Jermaine Dupri was involved in both records: the 1996 song was released on his So So Def label, and the 2004 song was produced by him.

In 1996, the Ghost Town DJ's released a bass music song entitled "My Boo". The song, an invite by a female to a male suitor, blended R&B style vocals with a high-tempo electronic beat. The song was written by Carlton "Carl Mo" Mahone and Rodney "Kool Kollie" Terry, and was included on both volumes of So So Def Bass All-Stars.
