Music Of The Sun

Music of the Sun is the 2005 debut album from reggae, dancehall, and R&B singer Rihanna. The album was co-written by her and the SRP label imprint. The album features twelve songs not including the "Pon De Replay" remix with Elephant Man. Music of the Sun features only two song collaborations: those with Vbyz Cartel and Elephant Man. For her debut album Rihanna stuck with her Caribbean background style. Music of the Sun includes the singles "Pon De Replay", "If It's Loving That You Want", "The Last Time", and "There's A Thug In My Life". The album debuted at #10 on the Billboard 100. It debuted selling 69,000 albums in its first week co-incidentally the same amount to Teairra Mari's self-titled debut album, the only different Teairra Mari's album debut at #5 it shows that album sales on the Billboard have improved over the week.
