Mr. Homn


 

In the Star Trek fictional universe, Mr. Homn is a manservant and travel companion to Lwaxana Troi, a member of the Betazed aristocracy and Deanna Troi's mother. Homn is notable for his great height (7' or 213 cm), penchant for consuming considerable quantities of alcohol, and tendency to be silent to the point where he was believed to be mute (although he has had one onscreen line of dialogue — "Thank you for the drinks"). Mr. Homn was portrayed in ' by Carel Struycken.

In the events of one Star Trek novel (which is non-canonical), it is revealed that Mr. Homn became a casualty of the Dominion War when Betazed was invaded by the Jem'Hadar.
