Programs for High School Students

Mount Holyoke offers a number of opportunities for high school students during the academic year and the summer:

• Take the Lead - "In addition to providing endless fodder for girl power publications, Take the Lead provides young women the opportunity to realize dreams that seem impossible. To participate, you have to be nominated and then submit a proposal for an "action project" to solve a social problem you feel strongly about."
• SEARCH - "The SEARCH program at Mount Holyoke College is designed for high school girls who have done well in mathematics and who would like to see a different aspect of the mathematical world."
• SummerMath - "Whether you love math or hate it, SummerMath can help you stregthen your mathematical thinking and communication skills, develop problem solving strategies and computer skills and build your confidence."
