I Am the Movie, the group's first album was self-released twice with handmade covers in limited quantities during 2002, the album was then re-released under Epitaph. In the summer of 2005, Motion City Soundtrack released their second album, Commit This to Memory. Commit This to Memory was especially notable because it was produced by Mark Hoppus of Blink-182. Motion City Soundtrack debuted its music video for "Everything Is Alright" in the summer of 2005.
