Mosrite
Mosrite was an American guitar manufacturing company, based in Bakersfield, California, from the late 1950s to the mid 1990s Founded by Semie Moseley, Mosrite guitars were played by many rock and roll and country artists such as Joe Maphis, Larry Collins, The Ventures and The Ramones.

The company fell on hard times in the late 60s and was gone by 1975. Semie Moseley died in 1992. There have been a few attempts at reviving the line, but with little success. As of now a company named Ed Roman Guitars, which is based in Las Vegas, Is selling Mosrite guitars made in Japan. They are now being manufactered once again for consumer use IN JAPAN.These "Mosrites" are being manufactured in Japan without the blessing or permission of the Moseley family. They aaquired the rights through court action from the U.S. trademark office in 2003-2004 long after they made hundreds of "Mosrite" labeled guitars in Japan.
