Mosman, New South Wales
Mosman is a suburb in the Municipality of Mosman on the lower North Shore of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located 8 km from the Sydney central business district and is surrounded on three sides by water. It was founded in the 1830s as a whaling station by Archibald Mosman and is now a leafy and prosperous suburb. Mosman contains Taronga Zoo and a number of harbour beaches, including Balmoral Beach.
