Mordechai Shpigler was one of the best Israeli football players. He played in Maccabi Netanya which is a small town 30 Km of Tel-Aviv. He also played is PSG in France and also cooperated with the legendary Pele in Cosmos at the American Soccer league.

His main achievment was the qualification of Israel in Mexico 1970 mundial. He scored there the only goal that Israel has ever scored in the Mundials.
