Monty Bodkin

Montague "Monty" Bodkin, also referred to as Montrose, is a character from the dossiers of P.G. Wodehouse. He featured in "Heavy Weather", "The Luck of the Bodkins", and "Pearls, Girls and Monty Bodkin".

Monty is a rich young popinjay who invests the bulk of his time in vacationing, learning the newest dance moves, enjoying upper-class social company, drinking, and women. Monty finally meets the love of his life (Sandy Miller) in "Pearls..." thanks to the movie tycoon Ivor Llewellyn, who helps Monty in understanding what a pill his former fianceé Gertrude Butterwick actually is.
