~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The month is a unit of time, used with calendars, which is approximately as long as some natural period related to the motion of the Moon (i.e. "Moonth"). The traditional concept arose with the cycle of moon phases; such months are synodic months and last ~29.53 days. From excavated tally sticks, researchers have deduced that people counted days in relation to the Moon's phases as early as the Paleolithic age. Synodic months are still the basis of many calendars. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Egyptian mythology: Egyptian mythology (or Egyptian religion) is the name for the succession of beliefs held by the people of Egypt until the coming of Christianity and Islam. The timespan involved is nearly three thousand years, and beliefs varied considerably over time.... Menthu: In Egyptian mythology, Menthu was a hawk-god, of war. Menthu's name, shown in Egyptian hieroglyphs to the right, is technically transcribed as mntw. Because of the difficulty in transcribing Egyptian, it is often realised as Mentju, Montju, Menthu, Ment, Month, Montu, Mont or Minu'thi.... Time: :For alternate uses of "time", see Time (disambiguation) or see TIME (magazine).... Month related Images and Photos (experimental) | ~ Table of Content ~
