Montgomery County, Kentucky
Montgomery County is a county located in the state of Kentucky. As of 2000, the population is 22,554. It was named in honor of Richard Montgomery, an American Revolutionary War Brigadier General killed in 1775 while attempting to capture Quebec City, Canada. Its county seat is Mount Sterling6.
