Monamory

Monamory (also monoamory or monogamy) is the desire to have one romantic relationship at one time, or the practice of having one romantic relationship at one time. People in said relationships, as well as the relationships themselves, are generally called monamorous.

As monamory is considered the norm in most modern societies, the term is primarily used to contrast with polyamory.
