Mohali is a city just next to Chandigarh, in Punjab, India.

The official name of Mohali is Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (SAS Nagar) and it is named after the eldest son of Guru Gobind Singh.

Mohali is home to the newest and most lavish cricketing ground in India. The Punjab Cricket Board (PCB) uses this ground as its headquarters. Due to disagreements between ground staff and the BCCI this ground is underutilized despite its obvious success at hosting matches.

Most of the Punjab-based national cricketers made debuts in Mohali, including Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Dinesh Mongia, and Gagandeep Singh.
