Mixer
 - In telecommunications a mixer is a frequency mixer. This may be used to derive useful signals out of modulated carrier waves in receiving equipment.
- In audio applications a mixer is a device that sums two amplified/attenuated audio signals; and thus mixes the sound. A typical audio recording studio will have a mixing console.
