It is located about 45 km (some 26 miles) by road from the state capital of Oaxaca, Oaxaca, at ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ . ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The main group of pre-Hispanic buildings is at the north end of town.
