Misty (jazz)
"Misty" is a jazz standard written in 1954 by the pianist Errol Garner. It has been covered many times by other artists, probably most notably by Johnny Mathis, who wrote the lyrics to Garner's tune. It plays a key role in the plot of the movie Play Misty for Me.
