The goal of the mission is to investigate the tragedy and bring back any survivors. When they arrive to the red planet, they find Luke, the captain of the first team, still alive. He tells the rescuers that upon setting foot on the red planet, his team had discovered an ancient dome-like structure which appears to be a human-like face. Somehow, the dome destroys the team and leaves him injured but alive. He spent the time alone learning the secrets of the mysterious structure.
