Minister for the Olympics
The Minister for the Olympics is a new position within the United Kingdom Cabinet created as a result of the selection of London to host the 2012 Summer Olympics.

The current Minister for the Olympics, Tessa Jowell, is also the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. It is not yet known whether these two positions will remain held by the same person, or as the Olympics draw near, they will separate into two distinct roles.
