Military District of Washington
The Military District of Washington also known as the MDW, is the U.S. Army military district in the national capital region. The agency is responsible for ceremonies and special events in the Washington, D.C. area. It also is the agency that oversees military installations in the Washington area, as well as Arlington National Cemetery.
