Demographics
Milan is a very diverse city, because it is the second largest city in Italy but it is probably the most industrial centre in the country. Much of the immigrants are from Asian and North African nations. A very small percentage comes from Latin America. The city is 91% Italian, and the remaining groups include Egyptian, Filipino, Sri Lankan, Peruvian, Chinese, and Albanian.
