Milan I of Serbia
Milan Obrenovi? IV was born in exile in Manasija (M?r??e?ti, Moldavia) during a period of the Kara?or?evi? rule in Serbia which began in 1842 with the deposition of Milan's cousin Prince Mihailo Obrenovi?. He was the son of Milo? (1829-1861) and Maria Katargi from Moldavia. Milan's father, Milo?, was the son of Jevrem (1790-1881), the brother of famous Serb Prince, Milo? Obrenovi?. Milan was therefore Prince Milo?'s grandnephew.
