Mike Richter
![]() Mike Richter (b. 22 September 1966) was a professional ice hockey player, born in Abington, Pennsylvania. The most successful American-born goaltender of all time, he is mostly known for leading the New York Rangers to the Stanley Cup title in 1994 and the US team to the gold medal at the 1996 World Cup of Hockey. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
