Mike Hodges

Mike Hodges (born July 29, 1932 in Bristol, England) is a British screenwriter and film director.

Hodges often works within easily identifiable genres (crime thrillers, science fiction). His work has latterly undergone critical re-examination, partly due to good reviews and box-office performance of Croupier, and the ongoing cult and critical appeal of Get Carter.
