Mick Hucknall

Michael (Mick) James Hucknall (born 8 June 1960 in Denton, Manchester) is the lead singer of the British band Simply Red. He attended Audenshaw School.

Mick has recently had the dubious honour of being voted Sky One's number 1 British celebrity minger. He is a prominent celebrity supporter of the UK Labour Party.

Following the Asian Tsunami, Mick Hucknall made a public statement of support for the charity SOS Children and asked any of his fans who were able to, to consider following his lead supporting the charity.
