Michaela Pereira
Michaela Pereira is an Canadian television personality best know as having been an anchor of TechLive from 2001 to 2004. Before the merger of TechTV and G4 in 2004, she left TechLive to be an anchor for Los Angeles' KTLA.

Pereira began her career at CHEK-TV in Victoria, Canada demonstrating her versatility as host of a magazine show and documentary special, as well as reporting on weather, sports and entertainment. From 1999 to 2001, Pereira was Internet correspondent for Buena Vista Television's nationally syndicated Ebert & Roeper. She researched, produced and reported on subjects related to movies and the Internet, as well as serving as guest film critic with Roger Ebert in late 1999 and early 2000. She also co-hosted Internet Tonight on ZDTV with Scott Herriott, a daily look at Internet news and informative, interesting, and funny websites.

Everywhere she has lived and worked, Pereira has been active in the community. As one of five adopted girls, she is especially interested in supporting organizations and programs dedicated to children and families including Friends of Child Advocates, LA's BEST, and Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic. She is a member of the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity In Communication (NAMIC). While living in San Francisco, she donated her time to the East Bay Habitat for Humanity and Mission Neighborhood Health Center.

Pereira attended Camosun College in Canada and the University of Victoria and is the recipient of two Gold Muse Awards from PROMAX-Canada.
