Michael Peter Smith


 

Michael Peter Smith is a Chicago based singer/song writer who Rolling Stone Magazine once called "The greatest song writer in the english language". Smith was born on September 7, 1941 in South Orange, New Jersey.{{fn|1}} He attended catholic school as a child, something that would go on to shape much of his writing.
