Michael Ende


 

Michael Ende (November 12, 1929August 29, 1995) was a German writer of fantasy novels and children's books. He was born in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Bavaria, Germany), son of the surrealist painter Edgar Ende. He died in Stuttgart (Germany) of stomach cancer.
