MGB

The acronym MGB has several different meanings:

• MGB (USSR) was a predecessor of the KGB (secret police).
• MG B is also is a model of automobile formerly produced by the British Morris Garages company.
• Mobile Garbage Bin, more commonly known as a wheelie bin
• Matthew Good Band, a Canadian group occasionally referred to as MGB.
• Motor Gun Boat, a fast attack boat, weapons based around cannons and guns, as opposed to the Motor Torpedo Boat.
• The Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn, a railroad operating in the Swiss Alps.
• Medial geniculate body: a subnucleus of the thalamus in the brain.
• MG can be an abbreviation for a motor-generator set.
