Mezmerize is the fourth album by System of a Down and the first half of the Mezmerize/Hypnotize double album. It was released on May 16th, 2005, six months before Hypnotize (due to be released on November 22nd).

The album features guitarist Daron Malakian often sharing the mic with vocalist Serj Tankian, taking up lead in the final two tracks, "Old School Hollywood" and "Lost In Hollywood".
