Mewar
Mewar is a region of south-central Rajasthan state in western India. It includes the present-day districts of Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, and Udaipur. Before India's independence, the region was a Rajput kingdom that later became a princely state of British India, ruled by the Sesodia dynasty for over 1200 years.
