Memory (song)
Memory is the showstopper song from the musical Cats sung by the character Grizabella, a one-time glamour cat who is now a shell of her former self and remembers her salad days. Many critics regard the song as being at least somewhat derivative of a song from a previous Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, Don't Cry for Me, Argentina, from Evita. The melodic lines are undeniably similar.
