Memoirs of an Invisible Man is a 1992 movie directed by John Captenter and filmed at Warner Bros. Studios.
Plot/Synopsis
Narrated by the main character, Nick Halloway (Chevy Chase) is a devoted bachelor and businessman. But after one night of partying too hard, has rendered Nick with a massive hangover. With a mandatory business conference breathing down his neck, Nick attends with serious reluctance. In a makeshift bid to relieve him of his pain, he decides to sleep in a small lounge adjacent to the men's bathroom. But within the building where the conference is held is a scientific lab, where an experiment has gone haywire. Such an experiment has the consequences of turning things invisible and thus, created a widespread panic that evacuates the building. But Nick has been sleeping through the entire incident, and now finds himself completely transparent, unable to see his body nor any tangible object in the building.

Meanwhile, emergency crews have turned up at the site as well as government officials including David Jenkins (Sam Neill), who makes the discovery of Nick. Convinced that the businessman has the potential to work with the CIA as the world's first invisible agent, unethical David wants to recruit Nick as part of their covert operations, and in the process, proves he'll stop at nothing to do so. As the story progresses, Nick also falls in love with a woman (Daryl Hannah) who embarks with Nick on the run from the government, as Nick now must adjust to his new life.
