Melrose Park, Illinois

Melrose Park is a village located in Cook County, Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 23,171. Melrose Park has long been home to a large Italian-American population, although Mexican Americans now form the majority of the population. It also is the home of Kiddieland Amusement Park and Maywood Park Racetrack.
