Meego was a short lived 1997 science fiction comedy, that aired on CBS, it starred Bronson Pinchot in the title role. Meego was a 9,000 year old shape shifting alien from the planet marmazon 9.0, who winds up living with a human family after his ship crashes. It also starred Michelle Trachtenberg of Buffy fame.
