Mean Fiddler is a United Kingdom music promoter and owner of venues. Among its interests, it runs the Reading and Leeds festivals, owns the London Astoria and has shares in the Glastonbury Festival and the Brixton Academy.

The group was founded in 1982 by chairman Vince Power, with a venue called simply 'Mean Fiddler'. After acquiring the LA2 in 2000, it was renamed to become the current Mean Fiddler.

As of April 2005, they had accepted a takeover bid from Hamsard ltd, A co-operative company 51% owned byClear Channel, a US-based media conglomerate and 49% owned by Irish Event organiser MCD.
