Max Gail
Max Gail (born April 5, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American actor who has starred in television and film roles. He is best known for his TV character Det. Stan 'Wojo' Wojeciehowicz from Barney Miller. Gail's best known film role was for D.C. Cab (1983) as Harold, the owner of a taxi company.

Gail has starred in other TV series, including Whiz Kids (1983) as Llewellan Farley, Jr., and in the short lived Normal Life (1990). He is currently getting ready to star in the series Sons & Daughters (2006).

He survived his wife Willie Bier, who died of cancer in 1986. Max remarried to a lady named Nan, they have two children and are also raising Nan's nephew.
