Maura Tierney

Maura Therese Tierney Morrissette (born February 3, 1965) is an Irish-American film and television actress, most recently known for her role on NBC's drama ER.

She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and studied drama at New York University and Circle-in-the-Square Theatre School. She lives in Los Angeles and New York together with her husband, Billy Morrissette, an actor-turned-director, and her pug, named Rose Kennedy. Maura, the daugher of Pat and Joe Tierney, a prominent former Boston politician, doesn't have any children.
