~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Slocum met vocalist Leigh Bingham Nash at a church retreat in the early 1990s. The two formed Sixpence None The Richer and recorded a demo soon after. Slocum also played in a band called Love Coma for a number of years. Currently, Slocum plays bass in the band the Astronaut Pushers. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Slocum is also a respected studio guitarist and cellist, performing on albums by artists Julie Miller, Wes King, Switchfoot, Threefold and others. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
