Bhajans

Amritanandamayi is also well known for her soul stirring bhajans, or Indian devotional chants. Music is a big part of the Ashram and she herself has composed hundreds of beautiful bhajans. The senior swamis are accomplished musicians in both vocal and instrumental areas of music. Other Ashram devotees are also accomplished musicians, many of them not even studying vocal music, harmonium, keyboard and tabla.
