Master P

Percy Robert Miller (born April 29, 1967), better known as Master P, was born and raised in the Calliope housing projects, New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended the University of Houston on a basketball scholarship. Raised by his grandparents along with his four siblings, he eventually moved to Richmond, CA with his mother in 1990. It was there where he used a $10,000 check from a legal settlement to open No Limit Record Store, which eventually became his record label, No Limit Records in 1994.

Other interests

Master P has financed, produced and appeared in several of his own movies as well as other big-budget films including Hollywood Homicide as the owner of a nightclub and in Dark Blue with Kurt Russell.
