Master P
Percy Robert Miller (born April 29, 1967), better known as Master P, was born and raised in the Calliope housing projects, New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended the University of Houston on a basketball scholarship. Raised by his grandparents along with his four siblings, he eventually moved to Richmond, CA with his mother in 1990. It was there where he used a $10,000 check from a legal settlement to open No Limit Record Store, which eventually became his record label, No Limit Records in 1994. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Fortune and Forbes have listed him on "The 40 Richest Under 40" and the "Top List of Highest Paid Entertainers," respectively.
